Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Hamper Help!

We're so glad you're trusting us with your laundry. We want to make your experience simple, smooth, and worry-free. Please take a moment to read through our terms so we're all on the same page.

Services

Hamper Help provides residential and commercial  laundry services, including washing, drying and folding of everyday laundry. We're not a dry-cleaning or alteration service, and we don't currently handle specialty fabrics (like leather, suede, or silk.)

Payment

  • Payment is due upon delivery unless you're on a subscription plan or other billing arrangement.
  • We accept most major payment methods. Unpaid balances after 14 days may incur a late fee of $10 or 5% of the outstanding balance, whichever is higher
  •  Prices are per pound or per item, depending on service.  
  • Cancellations within 2 hours of pick-up may incur a $5 fee.

Garment Care

We handle your items with care and follow manufacturer care labels whenever possible.

However, we can't take responsibility for:

  • Normal wear and tear (fading, shrinkage, stretching)
  • Weak fabrics, loose buttons, or old stains that worsen during cleaning
  • Items with incorrect or missing care labels

If you have delicate items, please let us know ahead of time so we can take extra care.

Scheduling & Pick-Up

  • You can schedule, reschedule, or cancel pickups easily through text.
  • Please have your laundry ready and accessible at the scheduled pickup time.
  • If laundry isn't available when we arrive, a $10 missed pickup fee may apply.
  • We may need to adjust pickup or delivery times in cases of weather, or other unforeseen issues - we'll always communicate promptly.

Delivery Details

  • Standard turnaround is 48 hours. If you need it faster, let us know.
  • You can choose attended drop-off or we'll pick your laundry up at your location.
  • We’re not liable for delays due to weather or unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control.


Lost or Damaged Items

We do our very best to return everything that comes in - clean, fresh, and neatly folded. If something seems missing or damaged:

  • Report issues within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Verified claims will be reimbursed up to $25 per item or five times the cost of the service (whichever is less).
  • We don’t cover shrinkage, color bleeding, or melted mystery objects left in pockets

Your Responsibilities

To keep everyone's laundry safe and clean:

  • Please check all pockets for items like pens, coins, or tissues.
  • Don't include items that are wet, moldy or soiled with hazardous materials. 
  • Ensure access for pick-up and delivery.
  • Keep your contact info up to date.

Privacy & Communication

We never share your info. Ever.

You agree to receive updates via SMS, or text.

Cancellations & Changes

You  may cancel or reschedule up to 2 hours before your pickup time with no fee. 

If you're ever unhappy with a service, let us know within 24 hours, and we'll do our best to make it right - whether that's a redo or credit toward your next order.

Limits of Liability

We’re not liable for events beyond our control (tornadoes, alien invasions, etc.).

Hamper Help is not responsible for damage caused by foreign objects left in laundry bags
